Microgreen Growing Instructions for Glass Jar



Pour 200ml water into the glass jar and evenly sprinkle the white water absorbing granules over the water. Leave to set for 5 minutes. Take a bowl and add 250ml of water. You can now put the soil disk into the water and let it absorb the water. Gently add the compost on top of the clear gel in the glass jar. Fill 3/4 of the jar. Save a little bit just to cover the seeds once sown. Sprinkle the seeds evenly onto the soil. Cover the seeds with the leftover soil. Spray with water using spray bottle. Place the jar for 48 hours in a dark place. Now put the jar in a bright well ventilated area. Not in direct sunlight. This will cause the seeds to rot. The surface of the soil should always remain moist, not soggy wet. Use a spray bottle. You will see seeds sprouting within 2 7 days. Microgreens are usually harvested when there are 2-4 leaves. Usually takes 10 days. Cut the shoots just above ground level with scissors and rinse the shoots before eating them. They can also be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container Microgreens are a SUPERFOOD and packed with nutrients. Add these to sandwiches, soups, smoothies, and salads.
